The Prayer and Needs Team (PNT) at Christ Lutheran Church started with a single seed and has grown over the years to have multiple shepherds. The core ministry team meets monthly and shares ideas, concerns, needs and prayers of congregational members as well as the community and world around us. The prayers and needs of our “flock” are then sent to the “Shepherds” who pray for these individuals, families or groups daily during their own prayer/meditation time.
We have baked or cooked small meals for families who have had a loss, illness, or are shut in. Birthday cards are sent every month, coffee hours are set up to meet with our “flock” to keep communications open. We also choose local and nationally sponsored programs to participate in and hopefully bring God’s love and concern to those in need.
Miracles are neither discouraged nor are they expected but we ask for God’s help to bear physical, emotional, spiritual or mental illnesses and then yield ourselves to His mercy and will.
